Kay had a very quiet funeral yesterday (June 21st) at Southampton Cremetorium. There was just myself and Jean Street (one of her closest friends) present. From conversations we had with friends she'd discussed her funeral with, we understood that Kay had wanted a very quiet ceremony. And had even said that she didn't want anyone there. But we felt it important to pay the respects of both her family and friends. The memorial we're holding for Kay next Friday (29 June) will give her many friends an opportunity to get together and celebrate her life.
